(= -------A PARADISE--------- =)
Before I'll share something about my hometown, i just want to clarify something:
Actually i was born in Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in Manila. We lived in Jasmine St., Baesa Caloocan City for almost 13yrs. We transferred to Limasawa Southern Leyte when i was in 2ndyr. high school. My mother was really from Limasawa and my father was from Cebu. Now, my entire family were dwelling in Limasawa and i am proud of this little island.
In here you can eat fresh fishes for free! Drink buko juice and eat "nilamaw" for free! Variety of fresh vegetables can be found in every barangay.
TWO OF THE FAMOUS PRODUCTS IN LIMASAWA ARE FLYING FISH (BANGSI) AND DRIED SQUID.
The first mass took place in Magallanes, Limasawa. You should climb up the stairs with 450 steps before you can reach Magellan's cross. When you arrived on that place you can see a plain 30-40 meters away from the cross. In there, you can see the wide, blue sea and the other islands around. Then you'll realize, this island is one of those God-given paradise here on earth!!!
WE ALSO HAVE BEAUTIFUL BEACHES AROUND THE ISLAND LIKE: DAKDAK, OJAJA AND TALISAY BEACH.
(me together with the young people of Seaside Baptist Church at our fellowship in Talisay beach.)
